Product Description

Linyi Yanjun Carbon Material Co., Ltd. produces regular power, high power and ultra-high power Graphite Electrodes, using high-quality petroleum coke, needle coke, coal tar pitch and other raw materials, after calcining, crushing, screening, mixing, kneading ,forming, baking, impregnation, graphitization and machining with compact and uniform structure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength, strong anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion at high temperatures, widely used in electric arc furnaces and ladle furnace for steel making, also used for smelting yellow phosphorus, industrial silicon, brown corundum and other alloys and non-metallic materials on the furnaces.

Precautions for the use of graphite electrodes
1. When selecting the electrode diameter for steel making, please refer to the current capacity through the electrodes.
2. Graphite electrodes should be protected from rain and snow during transportation and storage, and must be dried before use.
3. Graphite electrodes should be handled with care during loading, unloading and transportation to protect the thread and prevent damage.
4. Before connecting the electrode, the thread of the electrode must be blown clean with compressed air, and then the nipples and the sockets should be tightened.
5. The electrode lifting device of the electrode should not shake during operation to prevent the nipples loosening.
6. The electrode holder is not allowed to hold the electrode near the socket position.
7. When charging into the furnace, the large steel block should be placed at the lower part to prevent the electrode from falling and breaking the electrode during melting.
