Description

 

Graphite electrode is made from domestic petroleum coke and high quality imported needle coke.

It is divided into regular power, high power, super high power, ultra high power .

It is diameter ranges from 200 mm to 600mm.The height is between 1800 and 2400mm.

It has a round shape and a square shape.

 The regular power graphite electrode is made from petroleum coke with a little pitch

 The high power graphite electrode is made from 70% petroleum coke and 30% imported needle coke

 The ultra high power graphite electrode is made from 100% imported needle coke

Characteristics of graphite electrode:

l high oxidation resistance

l greater resistance to thermal and mechanical shock

Application

 It is widely used in arc furnace steelmaking.

 It is used in the mine thermoelectric furnace for the production of ferroalloy, pure silicon, yellow phosphorus, copper ice, calcium carbide, etc.

 It is used in resistance furnace.Graphite furnace, melting glass furnace and electric furnace for producing silicon carbide.
